PROVENANCE

The works exhibited have been loaned to Expo Dalí Cadaqués by the  ART FOUNDATION ANIMAS.

The purpose of the Foundation is:

Obtaining, managing and making accessible arts in general and the work of the Salvador Dalí in particular, to a wide audience.  

The collection of the founder of the Foudation, Mr. Huibert de Jong consists of original graphic work by Salvador Dalí, collected over more than 40 years. 

The collection was acquired through direct purchase of the artist and his representatives, such as editors and heirs. In addition through purchases via international auction houses.

The first exhibition of the collection took place in 1979 in the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam.
